Standard rights

• Up to 100 documentary resource
• Standard loan: 28 days
• Short loan: 7 days ("Consultatif", films, graphic novels, board games)
• 5 automatic renewals (if the documentary resource is not reserved by an other user)
• Document delivery and interlibrary loan

Limited rights for border residents who are not from the Geneva Graduate Institute community, France 01xxx, 074xxx

• Up to 100 documentary resources

• No document delivery and interlibrary loan

Restricted rights for foreign residents who are not from the Geneva Graduate Institute community, border resident excepted

• Up to 5 documentary resources
• Standard loan: 28 days
• Short loan: 7 days ("Consultatif", films, graphic novels, board games)
• 5 automatic renewals (if the documentary resource is not reserved by an other user)
• No document delivery and interlibrary loan

Note : The patron card is needed to access the Library and use the services. 

Be careful with the due dates ! Fines go up quickly !

• free reminder : 1 day after loan term
• 1st paying reminder : 7 days after loan term → 5 CHF per documentary resource
• 2nd paying reminder : 14 days after loan term → an additional 5 CHF per documentary resource
• 3rd paying reminder : 21 days after loan term → an additional 10 CHF per documentary resource

If we don't receive any news from the person who has not returned the documentary resource after the 3rd reminder, we will transfer their file to the Accounting Department which will invoice the price to buy a replacement copy plus 60CHF of administrative charges per replacement copy plus the amount of the fines for the delay of each non returned documentary resource.
