Global migration

International migration and refugees are important teaching and research domains at the Graduate Institute. Created in January 2008, the Global Migration Centre is devoted to the interdisciplinary study of migration linked to armed conflicts, generalized violence, persecution and ecological disasters. The Programme also focuses on the phenomenon of 'economic migration' and its contemporary implications.
