The interlibrary loan (ILL) and document delivery (SLSP Courier) service provides users with documents (books, journal articles, PhD theses) that the Library or another library in Geneva does not hold, and which are available elsewhere in Switzerland or abroad.

There is no ILL nor document delivery if the document is available in another Geneva library. Users must physically go and fetch it.

What is SLSP Courier?

SLSP Courier is a service that allows you to have books delivered from one library to another within 48 hours for a fee of CHF 6 per media ordered.

This service is free of charge for members of the Graduate Institute community.

Orders from other libraries in the SLSP network are placed via the swisscovery catalog by following this procedure.

Who is participating in SLSP Courier?

Most of the libraries of the major Swiss academic institutions offer this service. swisscovery allows you to know whether an institution is part of the network.

If your document is not in an SLSP library, request it through an interlibrary loan (ILL).
