A comfortable lounge in the reading room, which also offers:

  • graphic novels
  • classic board games (chess, checkers, go, cards)
  • art books

Board Games

The Graduate Institute Library offers a board games collection:
  • only available to the Graduate Institute community
  • loan: 7 days
  • 5 automatic renewals (if the document is not reserved by an other user)
  • special location: "Loan Desk"

Strategy games (available at the loan desk)

Classic games are also available in the Davis lounge

Lost and Found

Food and Drinks

To avoid damage to the Library and its resources, no food is allowed in the reading room. Drinks in bottles and closed cups are accepted.

Disabled Users

The Library aims to make all resources and services accessible to anyone by anticipating the needs of disabled people in order to develop an inclusive learning environment:

  • a table is reserved for disabled people near the loan desk
  • a PC is equipped for partially sighted readers

However, please be aware that during busy times there may be no available staff to help.
