Anthropology and Sociology

Throughout its history, the Library has actively collected material on anthropology and sociology, holding today important collections on the regions and individual countries of Africa, as well as on specific ethnic groups.

Areas of focus or specialisation in sociology and anthropology are oriented to the context of globalisation and transnationalism with a focus on the Global South.
