Information for faculty and students regarding the collection development policies of the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Library

Economics and Trade

The Library has an extensive collection in the field of international economics and trade. Historically, it was built up by two institutions that merged in 2008. The library of the Graduate Institute of International Studies (IUHEI, founded in 1927) collected books on international economics, trade and finance. The library of the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (IUED, founded in 1961) collected books on the economy of developing countries.

The main subject areas are based on the teaching and research areas of the academic departments of the Institute, in particular the international economics and political science departments. They also take into account the needs of interdisciplinary Master's students.
