Library loan service

Loan Main Activities

To use the Library services,  you need to register yourself in the SLSP network which first requires a Switch edu-ID account.

For help with the registration, please see here.

Normally, every documentary resource is renewed automatically 5 times unless it has been reserved by someone else.

If you want to do it, here is a form which explains how.

If the documentary resource you are looking for is on loan, you can reserve it and be notified when it is returned. This is how to do it.

If you need to return documentary resources by post, please send it to the address below.

Address for parcels only:

Geneva Graduate Institute

If you return a damaged documentary resource, you have to purchase a new copy for the Library. By damaged we mean wet, stained, ripped, stabilobossed, pencilled, incomplete, etc.

To begin the procedure, you have to fill in the form to acknowledge the damage herewith.

Once the documentary resource arrives, you have to bring it to the loan desk or send it to the Library. (See the Returning documentary resources by parcel tab for the address).

The Library is not responsible for the loss of personal property brought into the building. However, if we find a personal item, we will keep it at the loan desk for six months so that users have the time to claim it.
