Graduate Institute Repository

Policies and rules of the Graduate Institute repository

The aims of the Graduate Institute repository:

  • providing a safe and lasting place to archive the research produced by the Graduate Institute and its professors
  • making this research more visible
  • providing a place where the Graduate Institute researchers who have an open access mandate from their funders can meet these requirements according to the green open access principles
  • providing an appropriate place for professors and researchers wishing to make their papers and articles open access

The Graduate Institute repository contains the records of all books, book chapters, journal articles and papers written by the professors and researchers of the Institute, all working papers produced by the departments and research centres, and the masters, PhD theses and theses in progress. A full-text file is attached to the records of papers, journal articles and theses.

Access to these files can be:

  • private (accessible to the repository administrators only)
  • restricted (to the Graduate Institute community)
  • or open to everyone in compliance with copyright law, with an embargo period if necessary
