Swisscovery Courier

Cannot find the document you are looking for in our library? Request it in another library of the network thanks to Swisscovery Courier:

Please note that documents held in a Geneva library (UNIGE and City of Geneva) cannot be borrowed via the Swisscovery Courier service.
Users must go directly to the library where the document is located to borrow it and return it.
  1. Go to Swisscovery and sign in (top right) with your Switch edu-ID account:

  2. Search for the desired document in the catalogue by selecting the “Swisscovery”or “Swisscovery plus” search scope (by default, the search scope is Swisscovery IHEID):


     
  3. In the list of results, click on the desired title to access the details of the reference and check for available services:

  4. In this new window, under "Further request options", choose a pickup location (in "Pickup Institution", choose "IHEID" and in "Pickup Location", Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement) to display the best offer. Click on the button "Select":

  5. You can see a summary of your order (forget the price: it’s free for the members of the Geneva Graduate Institute). Click on the button "Request":


     
  6. You will be notified by email when the ordered document is available
