Right Livelihood is a courage-powered community for social change. Founded in 1980, they work for peace, justice and sustainability for all. Each year, they present the Right Livelihood Award. By celebrating the actions of brave visionaries and building impactful connections around the world, the Award inspires urgent and lasting social change.
Education is one of the foundation's core missions, as it works to spread and develop the ideas of Right Livelihood Award winners. As part of this mission, the Foundation has built up a collection of books written by or about Right Livelihood Award Laureates. These books are housed in the Library of the Geneva Graduate Institute and are open to the public. They can be borrowed under the same conditions as the regular Library collection.
