Digital Skills Workshops for PhD Students (UNIGE and Geneva Graduate Institute)

Media and Presenting Skills Workshops - Saturday 7 March

Media and Presenting Skills Workshops (Claire Doole, 8 h)

Talking to the media and speaking in public is a skill not a talent. Everyone can learn to speak with confidence and impact by learning and using a few golden rules. It is about planning, preparation and practise - like all soft skills the more you do it - the better you become. The workshop is interactive and  participatory. These workshops appeal to those who like to learn by doing, as well as reflect and analyze best practice. Participants will receive feedback from their peers and from the trainer.

Claire Doole is a former BBC journalist, UN spokeswoman, and actress. She has trained hundreds of people in how to talk to the media and present with impact.

This workshop  will take place on Saturday 7 March, please register for each part separately if you wish to participate in the whole workshop.
